Ahmed Kureshi , better known as Jhagru Baba was a man of vision and mission to spread love and peace through serving humanity. He was born in 1930 in Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh, but was forced to come to kolkata (then Calcutta)at the age of 9 to survive and suffice his hunger.
Jhagru Baba faced terrible consequences from both known and unknown individuals for his intolerance towards lies, misdeeds ,and anything of that sort. His refusal to accept any form of dishonesty earned him the title of “Jhagru” (one who quarrels a lot). However, as time passed, he settled in life and earned a healthy future through his hide business.
Jhagru Baba firmly believed that there was no religion better than humanity. He never made anyone his follower but advised all to take care of the ones who brought everyone into existence- Mother and Father. To him, worshiping the almighty meant serving those who needed help. Feeding people was his primary ideology to serve , as a person would be genuinely happy with a filled belly.

Apart from this , Jhagru Baba has done some amazing social activities such as collecting money for the marriage ceremony of the poor, aiding funds for operations and hospital expenses, and many more. He enlightened us with his amazing spiritual connection with mundane life.

On 26th February 2008, Jhagru Baba left his earthy body and started his journey beyond. But even today, all believers still feel his presence beside him. His teachings and beliefs continue to inspire people to serve humanity with an open arm and without any discrimination.
